Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Flick : 4k HD Live Wallpapers ("Flick", "the app") is developed and operated by Vinayak AI Studio ("we", "us"). For any privacy question you can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information we do NOT collect
- No phone number — we never ask for one.
- No access to your photos, gallery, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
- No location data. The app does not request location permission.
- No analytics profile that identifies you personally.
2a. Optional Google sign-in
Signing in is entirely optional — every wallpaper, download and setting works without an account. If you tap Sign in with Google in the Profile screen, Google shares the following with us through our own Supabase authentication service:
- your name as it appears on your Google account;
- your email address;
- your profile photo URL;
- a user ID that identifies your account to us.
We use this only to show who is signed in and to link any premium content you unlock in future to your account. It is stored on our own Supabase backend, alongside nothing else about you. We do not sell it, and we never use it for advertising. Google's part in the sign-in is covered by Google's privacy policy.
You can sign out any time from Profile → Account → Sign out. To have the account and its data deleted, email us and we will remove it within 30 days.
3. Information stored on your device
The following stays on your phone and is never uploaded to us:

Uninstalling the app, or using Settings → Apps → Flick → Storage → Clear data, deletes all of it permanently.
4. Information processed when you use the app
4.1 Wallpaper delivery
Wallpapers are served from our own hosted backend (Supabase). When the app requests a wallpaper, our server automatically receives standard technical information that every internet request includes — IP address, device type and time of request — in its server logs. We use these logs only to keep the service running and to detect abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share them.
4.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process:
- your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID);
- IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it;
- device information such as model, OS version and language;
- ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) to measure and prevent fraud.
This processing is carried out by Google as an independent controller under its own terms. Read Google's policy at how Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Settings → Google → Ads on your Android device, and opt out of ad personalisation there.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, in line with Google's EU user consent policy. You can withdraw or change that consent at any time from within the app's settings.
5. Permissions the app uses

The app never reads your existing photos — the save permission is used purely to write the wallpaper you chose.
6. Children's privacy
Flick is a general-audience personalisation app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with the service providers needed to run the app:
- Google AdMob — advertising (see section 4.2).
- Our hosting provider (Supabase) — stores the wallpaper library and serves images; it processes only the technical request data described in section 4.1.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in, to verify your Google account. Your account record itself stays on our Supabase backend (see section 2a).
8. Data retention
If you never sign in, we hold no personal records at all. If you do sign in, your account details stay on our Supabase backend until you ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept only for a short operational period and then rotated out. Device-side data (favourites, theme, cache) lives on your phone until you clear it or uninstall the app.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California) or the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) — including the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
If you never signed in, we hold nothing that identifies you. If you did, email us to access or delete your account data and we will action it within 30 days. For advertising data, requests are handled by Google — use the Google Ads settings linked above.
10. Security
All traffic between the app and our backend is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. The app holds no passwords or payment details, since it has neither accounts nor purchases.
11. Third-party content and links
Ads may link to third-party websites or app listings that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app's release notes.
